The admission period for the academic school year of 2011/2012 at the Anglo-American School has started.

 

Admission

The enrollment procedure includes the following steps:

1. Students are required to produce a diploma from the previous school attended along with the certificate of graduation or report card;
2. Parents must fill in the requested documentation and the registration fee must be paid in advance;
3. Parents must sign a legal Contract with the school in order to enroll their child.

An interview shall be organized in order to access the student's interests, orientation and preferences. Both the parents and students shall be present when this interview is held.

Students are obliged to take the English Placement Test. This test is not discriminatory; it provides information about the student’s level of English and the possible need for Additional English Lessons.

The School may find it necessary to test a child in the main fields of education, such as Mathematics, etc.

 

Documents Required

- A certificate of the completion for the previous grade;

- A physical examination form signed by a Medical Doctor; a Health Certificate must be provided as proof of immunization and health status;

- A completed AASB Application Form;

- A photocopy of the student's Birth Certificate;

- A photograph of the applicant (passport size);

- A paid Registration Fee;

Once all of the above is fulfilled, a Contract of Education is signed between a student’s parent/guardian and the School.


Registration and Tuition Fees

The Registration Fee should be paid well in advance of the Tuition Fee. It is deemed non-refundable. Primary School and High School differ in the Tuition fees. They may be paid in their entirety or in two/four installments. Please check fee details here.

Tuition costs cover all the classes and lectures in the student's track, course text books and materials (handbooks, art material, etc.) and all field trips (visits to museums, galleries, exhibitions, theater plays, culturally divers monuments, etc.), excluding excursions.


School Transport

With early registration, a student secures a seat in the school transportation. It is free of charge but limited to the first 24 students enrolled. Once all the seats are taken, an extra sum shall be charged for the transportation. Transportation is provided in comfortable vans. Safety is maintained by specially trained and professional staff.
